American Society of Mechcanical Engineers (ASME)

ASME is my priority professional organization.  They are of course inventors of the PVC, and pretty much the engineering profession as a whole.  They are the standard setting organization for my profession.  I take continuous improvement courses thru this organization every year.  I even get my family's health insurance from these guys!
